An Analysis of Occupational Health Nursing Papers for a Purpose to Establish the Concept of Nursing Goal(The Health)

Abstract
|
|
|
The purpose of this study is to present a theoretical arrangement and development of occupational health.
For these purposes, collected and analyzed 101 papers on occupational health (written from 1971 to 1990).
Through this study the following results were drawn.
1. The health concept was represented by fatigue level, productivity enhancement, physical & mental health problem index score, having occupational health nurse or not, nursing activity.
2. According to nursing theory, these concepts were classified into medical model, adaptation model, system model, development model, functional model. It was moted that medical model was preferred to any other models.
3. The functional model has been used most lately. But the evolutionary change in health concept was not significant from 1971 to 1990.
